TOWNSVILLE owner and breeder Dalan Tamblyn's good-producing mare To Please A Lady has another winner on her pedigree after Queen Caesar's QTIS success at the Gold Coast.

The three-year-old mare, by Holy Roman Emperor, broke through in a 3YO Maiden (1400m) for Tamblyn and Kendrick Racing on Saturday, December 7, pocketing a QTIS bonus in the process.

"It was great to see Queen Caesar knock off a QTIS race,'' said trainer Stuart Kendrick.

"She'd gone close at her last couple of runs when she ran a good second at Ipswich and third at the Sunshine Coast the start before that,'' he said.

"She's a half-sister to Tambo's Jewel and Lightfeet Lady.

"Owner Dalan Tamblyn's mare To Please A Lady has been a good producer.

"He (Tamblyn) also has a two-year-old half-brother by Show A Heart coming along with our stable."

At the Gold Coast, Queen Caesar ($4.20), ridden by Adam Best, sat in behind the leader before pulling out and striding to the lead and holding on.

"She still did a couple of things wrong. She'll make a nice horse when she puts it all together,'' Kendrick said.
